These three connectors are the “fibers” that transport the digital data and video signals from the DSL-120 or Argo II systems, through the 11,000 meters of cable on the winch, and into the Control Van where we watch the seafloor unfold beneath us. It is hard to imagine that all the data and 3 video signals get sent through such tiny wires.
