Ordinary Seaman Robert Hill gives a winch beam a fresh coat of paint. This winch had electrical problems earlier; with the first dive day approaching, all our equipment has to be fully ready to go. In the background sits ABE, an unmanned sub that makes fine-scale maps and photomosaics.
